Our trainee event this year on 6 September 2024 with 18 trainees from 8 IMF locations began at the historic Rammelsberg mine in Goslar. Our tour began with some history about the World Heritage Site. Afterwards, like the miners of Rammelsberg, we took the mine railway around 500 metres deep into the mountain and took a look at the machines and construction sites used by the hard-working miners. After this exciting journey, we needed a break for breakfast, so we had IMF | packed lunches to fortify us.
We then made our way to Vistory Goslar, where our trainees had to prove their teamwork skills and solve exciting puzzles. After escaping from the escape rooms, we had a cosy end to the trainee event with the best weather and lunch together at the market.
