On February 1, 2024, our trainees - Ahmad, Simon, Zehra, Aleksander, Jette, Maximilian and Paul from the 1st and 2nd year of training - started a two-day internship at the RKS Lernwerkstatt in Garbsen.
After a successful start with a round of introductions, the trainees embarked on the course: "Confident and friendly in dealing with customers - making a good impression right from the start!"
In this course, communication techniques in the professional environment were deepened and non-verbal communication was trained. An interesting practical day followed on the second day, where our trainees had the opportunity to build a luminaire from copper pipe. In order to create a suitable shape, the tube was soldered and pressed and then the electrical connection was integrated into the construction. This provided specialist knowledge from the fields of HVAC and electrical engineering and encouraged teamwork.
These two exciting days ended with a barbecue together in a relaxed atmosphere. Our trainees were enthusiastic and the internship was a complete success.
